What is Nevergrind Online actually? Nevergrind is an old school roleplay in the style of Dragon Warrior or Wizardry. In ego perspective, you can explore dungeons, solve quests and more. All this you do not have to do alone, because in the coop you can experience Nevergrind with up to four players. In addition, Nevergrind promises the following features:
- 12 peoples and 14 classes
- Attributes that can be freely distributed
- 12 different skills for each of the classes
- A variety of different equipment sets
- Procedurally generated dungeons
- 14 different areas
- Hardcore mode with Permadeath function
How does the game work? Have you created a character, you can look around the Kingdom of Edenburg. There you will find different buildings with different functions. Most importantly, the tavern, where you can find quests and rankings. There is also a guild hall to improve communication with your friends.
In the city you turn out accordingly and also prepares for your quests, which you can then experience together with other players.
In this video, the developer speaks about the latest progress and shows Gameplay:
When can you play? Nevergrind Online is expected to start on April 20, 2022 on Steam (via Steam). A closed-alpha phase is already running. At this closed-alpha you can participate by simply writing the developer via discord.
But the co-op adventure is currently not finished yet and the Closed Alpha is not "Feature Complete". So not all the features have been implemented in the game that should have it to be released. The game is also developed by a single person and the closed-alpha will be one of the first ways to try the game.
