Street Fighter V has a healthy life since its release in 2016 and the game begins its fifth season, which will bring new characters, costumes and scenes. In August, Oro and Luke were announced as a future characters and today, Capcom officially introduced Akira, another character with a unique combat style.
Akira Kazama will begin in the Street Fighter series at the exit of Season 5, but the fans know her as a graduate of Rival Schools. In this series, Akira made its debut in Rival Schools: United by Fate and she is the first character playable to make her debut in the Rival School series. Akira's fighting style is Bajiquan, a style of Chinese martial arts that uses elbow attacks, palm strokes and shoulder shots. In Street Fighter, she will keep much of her skills and fighting position.
The trailer presents the movements of Akira while it uses his fists, his elbows and more to defeat his enemies and execute his special skills.
Akira Kazama is available as part of the Season 5 Pass that will be launched tomorrow on August 16th. If the fans buy the Premium Pass or the Pass Character of Season 5, they will receive other characters such as Dan, Oro, Rose and Eleven bonus content. Luke, the final character, later released in 2021.
On Steam, the Champion Edition Upgrade Kit and the Season 5 Premium Pack Pack are available at a price of US $ 35.08, while the Champion edition alone costs $ 19.98. The Character Pass, which includes benefits such as five combat costumes and six tracks, costs $ 18.74, while the Premium Pass currently costs $ 29.99 because it is on sale at 25%.
